Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on the 30th of January, 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. The family moved to Casper, Wyoming with his family in the year 13 when he turned thirteen. He was raised by his father who was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture headed the soil conservation district located in Casper.
