Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28th, 1967 at Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is fourth in the Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta that began with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Early on, her father became interested in theater. While a student at Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University as well as elsewhere in Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force and while stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their daughter, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. In 1957 the couple left the Air Force and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. In 1964, Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning TV show titled Bum Bum and His Buddies that they designed and funded. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou established their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. The organization lasted for a total of six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) as well as Julia (also known as Julie) at the time.
