Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci (Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, now Onesti) Romanian Gymnast born 12 November 1961. She was the first Romanian to score a of 10 for an Olympic event. Bela Karolyi later Romanian gymnastics coach, discovered Comaneci when she was just seven years old. First competing in the junior national championships of Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, won. At her first international competition, which was a preolympics junior competition for nations in the Communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975, she won named the all-around Junior Champion. In her debut as a senior in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion, winning four golds and a silver. She won the American Cup at the New York City Olympics. She also became the first woman to ever dismount bars in parallel with backwards double salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career began in entertainment in her teens performing as a figure skating duo with her sister Nina Wayne for the travelling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her professional career as an entertainer in her teens. She started her career performing figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment shows Ice Capades. The shows featured theatrical ice-skating performance.
