Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My child played around in the playpen as I sat for 12 hours, sanding the floor and removing wallpaper. Ha! The home was starting to appear nice, however there was a lot to be done. It would take money, effort, as well as my personal favorite to complete the interior of this house. My three sons and me searched for hidden gems while at estate sales to reduce my expenses. We used to go on a weekly basis to walk around garage sales and auctions on Saturday and Sunday and purchase a range of furniture, both new and old constructed. It was my job to spend the day at the end of the driveway, painting or sanding. Looked a little something like the picture below... This is where my passion for restoring furniture began. When our house was furnished, I still couldn't give up! I had a space on the local market, and also sold items there. Then I bought more that I knew about and outgrew the space. In my own home, I began hosting open houses, where over 1,000 people were able to come in and buy any item they wanted from the first floor within a single weekend. My venture Growing Days began here. When my business grew, so did our little family. It was like I had found the perfect way to balance being a mom and launching my venture. Growing Days just fit. In 2013, my daughter Nora became our fourth daughter. My business was going well however I needed a break. I made the decision to take some break from my antique furniture and slow down to stay at home with the children. That was precisely the thing I needed. In the course of a few months, my phone started to begin to. The people who called me were seeking help for their interior decorating and home remodeling. They were mostly people that came to my house for furniture. Then I slowly took on new clients according to my own pace. In the end, I had many clients, and had a business of home renovations. When you first spoke to me about your home remodeling business I laughed. In fact, I do laugh when I think about the idea.
