Katherine Heigl is open about being raised in "a white bubble." The actress also discusses how that realization has affected her parenting of adopted children that are multiracial. In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl revealed that she did not care about her skin tone, until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. Meg was asked if she was treated differently when they were out together with their parents and then when they went alone. Meg replied: "Oh, sure, I've seen everything!' That made me realize that I had been so naive," Heigl said to her parents. She said that she was mad, but she felt that she had to channel this anger to help her daughters. Heigl as well as her 13-year-old husband -- the musician Josh Kelley -- have four-year-old son Joshua Bishop Kelley, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), one of their daughters from South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in 2012.
